Born in Switzerland in 1971, Charles-Emmanuel Deppierraz is a self-taught designer with an atypical background. A former senior executive, he discovered by chance at the dawn of his fifties a hidden talent and a passion for furniture and lighting design. He then developed a personal approach to design, bringing together emotions and exceptional know-how in original, timeless creations. Combining simplicity and purity of line with noble materials and a quest for excellence, he creates bespoke pieces and limited editions in collaboration with the finest craftsmen. Charles-Emmanuel Deppierraz advocates the use of natural, sustainable, preferably local materials of exceptional quality to create pieces that can be handed down through generations.
