Découpage means cut-out in French, and Laine + Alliage interprets this by creating a technique in which hand-cut appliqués are sewn to produce unique and beautiful compositions.
The Découpage pieces are all made using a curated selection of the finest fabrics and leathers. Tonal designs are accentuated by materiality, after all, mixing materials is something that Tania carries over from her days working in couture ateliers. For added drama, the graphic element can be augmented by using contrasting colors!
