Tivoli, a picturesque city located on the western slopes of the Sabine hills, was the place that the elite of ancient Rome chose to enjoy pleasant country life in their stately residences.
In the midst of so much splendor, in the river near the city, a treasure was hidden, the oldest and most famous travertine marble, a natural stone present throughout the history of Italian architecture, both as a construction and decoration material, the stone that gave us the beauty of the colosseum.
Ivan Colominas pays homage to the generosity and history of this refined marble, in his new collection that evokes the Jewel of Tivoli. Tables, stools, vases and centrepieces. A harmonious embrace between soft lines and Precious materials: Navona travertine with wood or with a new shade of marble, Emperador dark.
